Tuition

How tuition works

  • Tuition depends on how many weeks you book and which blocks they are in. Lavonne is glad to walk through it by phone or at the open ranch evening.

    • How many weeks you book

    • A single week or a whole block

    • Which block, as Barn camp includes supplies

  • Registration

Registration holds your camper's place and starts their file for the summer. It is due when you register for your first week.

  • Holding a place

A place is held when you register and make the first payment, which goes toward that block's tuition. If a block is full, join its waitlist: Lavonne offers places in the order families joined, by text and email, and holds an offer for a day.

  • Billing

Tuition is billed by the block, with the balance due before the block starts. You can set up autopay when you register if you would like it.

  • Siblings

Camping with a brother or sister? Tell us when you register. Lavonne is glad to talk it through when you call.

  • Withdrawing

We ask for two weeks' notice before a block starts if you need to cancel, and Lavonne explains what happens to a payment when you call. If your camper is ill, call us and we will move the week when there is room.

  • Gear and other costs

The extras are the camp shirt and the supplies for Barn camp. The shirt is worn on trail days so counselors can spot the group, and the supplies are clay, paper and thread. Lunch, a water bottle and sunscreen come from home.
